Introducing the Vanuatu Development Support Program (DSP)

Under the Honorary Citizenship Act [CAP 112] of Vanuatu, citizenship can be obtained by donation through the Development Support Program.

The Development Support Program replaced the former Vanuatu Economic Rehabilitation Program (VERP)-, which was established in 2015 to raise funds to repair damage caused to infrastructure and residences by Tropical Cyclone Pam in 2015, which is considered to be the largest natural disaster in Vanuatu’s history.

On January 1, 2017, Regulation Order No. 215 and 216 of 2016 came into force, granting lifetime citizenship by investment in Vanuatu to foreigners who make certain economic contributions to the Government’s Development Support Program

8 Week Application Process

STAGE 1: FIU / Due Diligence

An engagement letter is signed and we work with you to prepare your application for the FIU (Financial Investigation Unit) due diligence check.

STAGE 2: Citizenship Application

We ensure the required documents are processed efficiently with the Citizenship Committee. 25% of the Government Contribution is paid.

Letter of Citizenship Approval

Upon the application being successfully approved, an official letter is received, confirming your Vanuatu Citizenship.

STAGE 3: Passport Application

Your passport application is processed, and the remaining 75% Government Donation is made. The oath of allegiance is performed, and your passport is delivered by DHL.
